Three Golden Puppets

Once a little country came to China, and paid three look-alike golden puppets as tribute. It were so resplendent and magnificent that made the emperor very delighted. But the little country was not kind and set a question: which is the most valuable among the three golden puppets?

The emperor thought of a lot of means. He asked jewelry worker to check them carefully, weigh their weight, watch their workmanship, and they were like as two peas. What should they do? The emissary was still waiting for back and report. Such a vast country, couldn’t deal with such a little question?

At last, a retired old minister said he got the idea. The emperor invited the emissary to the hall, the old minister took out three straws with assurance, the first straw was inserted into the ear of the first golden puppet and came out from another ear, the second straw was inserted and came from the mouth of the second golden puppet, while the third straw was inserted and dropped into the belly of the third puppet without any sound. The old minister said: the third puppet is the most valuable! The emissary said nothing because the answer was right.

What we can learn: the most valuable one maybe not the one good at talking. The bejesus gives us two ears and one mouth with the original idea of let us listen more and say less. Be good at listening is the most basic making of mature man.

The Bridal Gathering Wedding Fair and Bridal Fashion Show 2011 at Rainton Meadows Arena near Durham City was a great success with Brides and Grooms forming a line to get in long before the doors opened. The Bridal fashion show was the highlight of the Wedding Fair, with designer dresses, bridesmaid dresses, evening dresses, mother of the bride outfits, cocktail dresses, formal dresses, and a wedding dress for every bride.

Searching For A Bright Future

I want to do business even through I know it is not so easy just like saying it. At least one year ago I had already this kind of minds. But it seems that there are lots of obstacles before me. I am not sure I always am available on saturday and sunday. I also have no any plans for the business activity. There is nobody in my family who has any experience for doing business. The alluring outfits were provided by the upscale boutique, Cumbia. The presentation was choreographed by top fashion director Raymond Villanueva.

The fashion show was one of the many activities lined up for Bb. Pilipinas 2011 candidates until the Grand Coronation night on April 10. I just came back from the celebration of my colleague Julie’s birthday. She told me a month ago her birthday by accident though she even didn’t remember telling me her birthday. I never celebrated her birthday before because I didn’t know it. Now that I knew her birthday, I couldn’t pretend that I didn’t know it.

After work, she was still working. Watching her working alone in the big office, it was her birthday, obviously, but no one had a celebration for her. Two hours later, I finished my discussion about technical details with two Canadian clients and sent them away. When I returned to the office and found Julie was still working, perhaps she forgot her birthday.

A young girl just graduated and had her second birthday outside, no one celebrated and she worked alone on her birthday, I felt so sad and decided to give her a little warmness and suprise as a colleague. However, Jiabo said to me, “you may kiss the baby for the nurse’s sake.” I just smiled without saying anything, but another colleague Limei was angry, “Danny, shut your crow mouth up.”

I never found Julie had so beautiful voice to sing because she was always tacit. When I returned home, I found making other people happy was actually making myself happy. In fact I was even happier than Julie. It was a really beautiful night full of happiness, which was even better then the romantic and poetic night of autumn rain.

It’s my pursuit that one day I could work in foreign enterprise, and in June of this year, I started my foreign enterprise career.

In private company,I was advocating personality, express happy or angry on my face, prefer phoning to email, and always kidding with colleagues, we were glad to work with each other, once the people whose work was not so good, I will tell him and suggest what he or she should do, most of my colleagues are male, they would like to know their shortcomings.

But now,I am in foreign enterprise,I was so low-keyed,for people work around, they’re self- protective, and departments’relationship is so delicate.And the work I do is only according to the title’s description, limited but strictly.I am not sure whether I’m correct, but at least, I could learn that the culture and work divide is totally different.

Time To Go To Sleep Early

What time do you go to sleep? I asked several friends with this question. 11:30 pm, 12:00pm, 00:30 am or 1:00am, different people have different reply, and we could find the common: it is late and it is very tired second day.
I have slept early these days,and i find it is so beautiful. The body is relax, the brain is clear, and the working state is so great.
And i find you can work or study more efficiently if you have enough sleep, so i advice you to go to sleep early if you can .
People think it's the same as long as they have 8 or 9 hours sleep disregarding which time they go to sleep and wake up. it's not true. If you sleep between 12pm to 9am. You are actually hurting your liver and gallbladder by sleeping too late(after 10am), you are also hurting your kidney by waking up too late(after 7am). You are also hurting your stomach by eating too late(after 8am). So it's not a good deal at all though you are spending the same amout of time for sleeping.

My story with the Potala Palace

Shuaishuai tells her story:
It was the summer of 2007, and I came to Tibet for the third time. Actually, I had decided to stay and live in Tibet.
Then I lived at a hotel run by one of my friends in Xianzu Island of Lhasa, together with some friends. We worked hard every day and then went back home, cooking and chatting.
During a long period, I and other three friends would ride along with a dark road at night while singing happily all the way to the Potala Palace square.
At that time, we took a lot of pictures on the Potala Palace square. We would stay there till the deep night when the lights were turned out. We sat there quietly and watched the Potala Palace for a long time.
We were in Lhasa and everything happened at that time connecting with Lhasa, while what kind of the relationship between us and the Potala Palace is? If I have to define its significance, it's the deep love I'd bear in my heart, as the Potala Palace is a beautiful dreamland to me even when I was a child.

Michael Jackson's final hours shared

"I'm monitoring him ... and he fell asleep," said Murray. "I sat there, watched him for a long enough period that I felt comfortable .. Then I needed to go to the bathroom. So I got up, went to the bathroom."
"I was gone I would say about two minutes .. Then I came back to his bedside and was stunned in the sense that he wasn't breathing."
Murray said he immediately started cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
After continuing those efforts for an unspecified time, he called Jackson's personal assistant, Michael Amir Williams, who was not at the house but who alerted security guards outside to come up to the bedroom.
He said he did not immediately call 911 because he was working intensively on trying to revive Jackson. "To speak to a 911 operator would be to neglect him," he said.
Eventually another security guard arrived and called 911 at 12:20 pm, before starting to help Murray pump Jackson's chest. Paramedics arrived about six minutes later and continued efforts for about half an hour.
With no signs of life, doctors said they were ready to pronounce death at 12:57 pm, but Murray insisted he be taken to the UCLA Medical Centre -- where the star was eventually pronounced dead at 2:26 pm.

Radwanska got China Open title

Agnieszka Radwanska from Poland experienced a 154-minute battle to disarm German world No. 11 Andrea Petkovic 7-5, 0-6, 6-4 to seal the title of China Open here on Sunday.

At the awarding ceremony, Radwanska and Petkovic performed a short Chinese dance as was promised after yesterday's semis. Petkovic, who was plagued by injury all through the match, burst into tears and buried her face into the towel after the dance.


Radwanska entered the match with a break and established a 4-1 lead after breaking her opponent for a second time in the first set.

However, Petkovic refused to surrender, breaking back to pull the score to 3-4. Petkovic got hurt in muscle in the eighth game, and she called a medical timeout. She then came back to the court with another break to level the score to 4-4. After the score got to 5-5, Radwanska knocked down two straight games to wrap up the first set 7-5.

Breaking became the theme of the third set. Radwanska succeed three times, while Petkovic broke twice. Petkovic made a fatal forehand error to lose the ninth set to her rival, and Radwanska held serve to harvest the victory 6-4.

Beijing will launch Cleaning Air Action Plan

Beijing will release Beijing Municipal Clean Air Action Plan, which means that Beijing will have more blue sky in the future. The rate of blue sky will reach 80 percent in 2015, according to Chen Tian, director of Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau.

Chen shows that the clean air action plan will be published very soon, it aims to change the main six districts to no fire coal districts. It will deal with the smoke pollution first, the large-scale fired power plants in the six districts will reform the clean energy and transform 520 coal-fired boiler, at the same time, it will helps residents to change the coal stove to use clean energy.
